Sorry, dude. This isn't a single player game that caters to your playstyle via cheat codes. This is a multiplayer game that you have to bend to its style.

Normally I try to offer constructive criticism, but this idea is pretty much a bad idea all around.

This isn't really the Q&A forum, but...Unlocked skills are unlocked account wide. Get it once, you have it available via tome on any character on that account.

I knew it wasn't the right forum but I asked because I thought that's the thing maybe OP didn't realize. With a tome, it's trivial to get skills on new toons once they've been unlocked on an old toon. I was thinking maybe the suggestion was from a perspective of not wanting to have to play through content repeatedly to get to skill trainers on new toons.

Maybe OP wasn't aware you could just use tomes to get those skills on new toons. Of course, if the idea is to NEVER have to play through an area to get a skill, then /notsigned. I quite enjoyed getting to Ferndale to cap SoS personally. That's kind of the point...to play the game.

The thing that I'm more upset about than the OP's laziness is his REASON for wanting this: he doesn't want to play the game, he just wants to farm. I mean, his post ended with "FOWSC here i come".

You are all missing the point, i am mostly talking about pve only skills like asuran spells or norn shouts ect.

You cant get those from skill tomes. And i just want to do the quests to get them, not travel all the way to the quest giver by doing 10 missions to get there (to a quest giver) .

For example for the skill "mindblock" I needs to get to an outpost in order to get that skill. I have that outpost on my monk but not on my assassin. And tomes dont help with mindbender or other asuran, norn, vabbian ect skills.

Thats still a lazy option. If you dont have the patience to get a few easily obtainable skills by running your char to that outpost to even set up the build you want... then you really shouldnt try to go to join any SC teams in the first place as they only want people with enough patience, dedication and skill to actually do the run in the first place. Hence the very flawed and dumb request of show your stones.

And you're missing the point of all the down sides to what you're requesting.

I'm assuming you mean MENTAL Block? It requires a quest. In an outpost that's not hard to get to.

It's not hard to get through the campaigns, especially if you've done them before on other chars. I think you'll also find that most faction titles are character specific apart from Luxon/Kurzick so glhf.

Some of the PvE skill quests even require you have completed the Primary Quest line for that race (in the case of EotN) before you can do the quest anyway. So even if you made it to the outpost you wouldn't be able to pickup the quest to get the skill as you won't have done the pre-requiset quests.

The time it has taken to post this thread and gather responses you probably could've got skills by now.

I'm lazy, but not lazy enough to prefer paying to get outposts...especially in EotN where it doesn't take you that much time to get them all.

And since PvE skills depends on you reputation rank, you might as well do those 10 missions...

I don't understand the problem; an EoTN tour from Gunnars tends to cost 2-4k, if at all. If you're that strapped for cash, buy gold from a website, no need for the devs to spend time on this.

Don't buy a video game if you want to skip content so you can get to the "good stuff" with minimal or no effort! I don't care if you have already played through it on 5 different characters, this is a horrible idea. You are either really RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOing lazy or a troll. Nobody should ever encourage a company to put crap like this in their online store.

What's next? Wanting the option to purchase a $25/mo get-away-with-botting pass so your computer can farm for you without the risk of getting Dhuum'd?

PvE skills are quest rewards. Stop QQing and start pewpewing!
